Student Representative Council (SRC)

The Student Representative Council (SRC) at Glendal Primary School empowers students to actively shape their learning and school environment. It provides a platform for student voice, ensuring that opinions, ideas, and expertise are valued in decision-making processes. Through authentic opportunities for leadership and collaboration, the SRC fosters student agency, confidence, and a sense of belonging, while strengthening connections within the school and broader community. This program prepares students to contribute meaningfully to their world, promoting resilience, creativity, and active citizenship.

Each class from Years 3–6 elects one representative to the SRC. These students are chosen by their peers through a democratic process, ensuring that every class has a voice in discussions and decisions that impact the school community. We also have an SRC Captain, who is part of the Year 6 Student Leadership Team and works alongside teachers to help facilitate the program and support the representatives.
