Parental involvement and participation at Glendal Primary School is warmly invited and actively encouraged.
We believe that active involvement in schools by parents and carers helps children achieve the best possible learning outcomes. You can participate in school life, both formally and informally, through school council, the Glendal Parents Group, volunteering and staying up to date with news about what is happening in education.
Volunteer programs, where parents can directly participate in school activities include helping out on excursions, camps and school events, assistance with reading, mathematics and other school programs, and helping out in our library.

Glendal Parents Group (GPG)
The Glendal Parents Group aims to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents, teaching staff and community members into close co-operation as well as assisting financially in providing facilities and equipment for the school. It also provides members with an opportunity for participation and decision-making in the school.
Some of our parents hold a prayer group meeting each month at the school. They can provide support and assistance to families.
