Enrolment - Foundation and other year levels

We have received many international enquiries about short term enrolments, unfortunately we do not accept temporary or short term enrolments. Please share this information within our community.

我校收到许多关于国际学生短期入学学习的咨询, 遗憾的是我们不能接收12个月以下的短期入学申请。 请大家在社区内分享这则信息。

Please read this information from the Department of Education.

We have created the New year of learning webpage to help families, and students of all year levels, prepare for a new year of learning in 2025.

The webpage includes:

  • tips to help transition from early childhood education to Prep, and primary to secondary school

  • what to expect at school

  • where to find help with school costs and fees

  • health and wellbeing guidance to support children’s mental health

  • learning and disability supports.

FOUNDATION ENROLMENT PROCESS FOR 2025

This year our school is using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents.

VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2025.

VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.

To commence online enrolment:
Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.

A Quick Reference Guide to using the online system is available here. https://edugate.eduweb.vic.gov.au/Services/bussys/cases21/Templated%20Communication%20DE/QRG_Digital_Enrolment_Parent_Carer_Guide.pdf

It is important to note that the placement policy is followed by all government schools. You can view the Placement Policy here.  Your chances of being offered a place in the schools you apply for are not advantaged or disadvantaged by using this system.

You can indicate your interest in enrolling in our school by contacting our school by phone 9803 1330 and speaking to our enrolment officer Mrs. Trish Richards or emailing glendal.ps@education.vic.gov.au

You may still enrol at our school if you reside within our enrolment zone, any time after the 15th April 2024. We accept enrolments throughout the year in Years 1 - 6, where we have vacancies.

We invite interested parents to attend a school tour. These are held every Tuesday at 9.30am, no bookings are required.

Our school zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

For more information, you can:

  • visit School zones for answers to frequently asked questions
  • call the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) on 1800 896 950

  • Foundation application for enrolment can be completed between the 24th April and the 28th of July. Your child must be 5 years old by the 30th of April, in the year that they are starting school.

As a first priority we must enrol students, who are in our school zone and siblings.

Sun Smart Hats

Please remember that  UV levels are high in Terms One and Four.  For this reason, students must wear a  CLEARLY NAMED broad brimmed, bucket or legionnaires style hat - no baseball caps (so that children’s ears are protected from the sun) when playing outside.
